The Cannabist Company, DBA The Green Solution & Medicine Man, seeks a Shift Lead at Medicine Man Dispensary in Denver, CO. The role supports store leadership, coaches staff, and ensures customer-focused service in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. You may serve as manager on duty when needed.

You will handle cash and POS, open/close duties, train the team, and uphold SOPs and compliance to drive store goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and coaching abilities.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership in achieving sales goals and business growth.
• Lead by example and promote a service-minded retail environment.
• Demonstrate cannabis product knowledge and guide customers.
• Open/close the store and assign daily tasks.
• Train staff on retail tasks including intake, sales, inventory, and POS transactions.
• Provide coaching and escalate employee concerns to leadership.
• Ensure SOPs and compliance are followed; report issues.
• Assist with inventory management and audits.
