The Cannabist Company in Aurora, CO is seeking a Shift Lead to support store leadership, coach team members, and resolve customer issues while delivering an exceptional shopping experience in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

As a Shift Lead, you will open/close the store, oversee daily tasks like checkout, inventory, and POS transactions, and ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements while mentoring colleagues and promoting company values.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Experience with cash handling and Point-of-Sales systems.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach and influence others.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Support store leadership in achieving sales goals and growth.
• Lead by example and promote a service-minded retail environment.
• Demonstrate cannabis product knowledge and guide customers.
• Open/close the store and assign daily tasks to meet needs.
• Coach and train the retail team on intake, sales, inventory and POS.
• Provide coaching and escalate employee concerns to leadership.
• Follow SOPs, compliance regs and report issues promptly.
• Assist inventory management and conduct regular audits.
