Job summary

Philz is seeking a Team Lead (Shift Supervisor) to oversee daily shift activities and guide a passionate team of baristas. You will model best-in-class service, craft each cup with care, and foster a welcoming local community.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and hands-on coaching across shifts. You’ll drive performance, ensure quality beverages, and support store operations while upholding Philz values.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment preferred.
• Willingness to learn and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shift activities and support a dynamic team of baristas.
• Motivate team to deliver superior service and drink quality.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and the local community.
• Assess team performance in service and quality.”
• Hold shifts and breaks, ensuring coverage and schedule adherence.
• Communicate performance to Store Leaders and other Supervisors to ensure consistency.
• Assist in in-store training and onboarding of new hires.
