Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations on assigned shifts and support team members across all areas of the bakery. You will help ensure guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include leading and motivating staff, overseeing daily operations, coaching and training, opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
