Job summary

Republic Chophouse is seeking a proactive Floor Supervisor to manage daily operations during shifts, lead staff, and ensure guests receive outstanding service.

You will oversee front and back of house, monitor health and safety, supervise team performance, and handle cash operations and guest issues.

This role requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a strong commitment to teamwork and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in food & beverage, preferably fast-paced.
• Demonstrated leadership with strong team motivation and management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for issue resolution.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and food service regulations.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in cash handling and using POS systems.
• Physical stamina for a full shift of standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights.
• Effective problem-solving skills and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee smooth operation during shifts, coordinating front and back of house seamlessly.
• Staff Supervision: Direct staff activities, manage performance, and staffing levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Customer Service: Address customer service issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining quality standards.
• Compliance and Safety: Enforce sanitation and safety regulations with regular checks for compliance.
• Financial Oversight: Manage cash operations and prepare reports on shift activities, noting discrepancies.
