Job summary

Republic Chophouse is seeking a motivated Server Assistant to support servers by cleaning and setting tables, removing dishes, and helping guests with beverages and condiments. The role requires strong multitasking and the ability to work efficiently in a busy dining room.

Responsibilities include stocking and cleaning, assisting with service, and communicating with teammates to ensure smooth seating and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry or pull heavy objects.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Capacity to communicate with servers and hosts to assist seating and service.

Responsibilities

• Wipe tables and seats with sanitizer.
• Set tables and stock service areas.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and transport tableware to the kitchen.
• Assist with serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in dining rooms or bar.
• Clean up spills and remove trash.
• Fill ice and maintain bar/liquor stock.
• Coordinate with server/host to optimize seating and service.
• Inspect restrooms and clean as needed.
• Wash glassware.
