Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager to work alongside the Bakery Manager and team members, ensuring high-quality cake production, a welcoming guest experience, and brand standards. The role shares leadership responsibilities, drives sales and profitability, and supports day-to-day bakery operations with adherence to NbC policies.

You will help supervise guest engagement, oversee cake production, merchandising, and scheduling while assisting in payroll and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same.
• Experience training new team members, directing work, and achieving productivity goals.
• Comfort with basic computer tools; willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and models superior guest engagement.
• Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, and inventory control.
• Supports training and coaching of team members; directs daily work responsibilities.
• Ensures standards and procedures, health and safety compliance, and brand guidelines are followed.
• Assists in opening/closing duties, cash handling, and reporting as needed.
• Co-manages special orders for individuals and corporate accounts.
