Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Bakery Manager who collaborates with the Bakery Manager to deliver superior guest experiences and high-quality cakes. You will help drive sales, manage daily bakery operations, and uphold NbC standards in a welcoming environment.

You will lead, train, and coach team members, coordinate cake production plans, scheduling, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with food safety policies and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in a retail, restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a lead role with progressive managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success creating a superior guest experience and coaching others to do the same, training new team members, directing the work of others, and achieving productivity goals.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, with comfort in learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience and fosters a positive work environment.
• Leads guest experience, cake production, and brand and merchandise presentation with the Bakery Manager.
• Supports recruitment, training, and performance coaching of team members.
• Ensures product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising standards meet NbC policies and safety standards.
• Assists with scheduling, productivity goals, and payroll processing.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment via web and email for individual guests and corporate accounts as well as large, complex orders and deliveries.
• Co-facilitates opening and closing of the bakery, including cash-drawer balancing.
• Contributes to marketing strategy execution and community events.
• Maintains hands-on knowledge of all bakery roles to cover operations as needed.
