VOA-NCNN in Sparks, NV seeks a Variable Hour Support Staff for Our Place Shelter. You will provide compassionate, nonjudgmental service to residents, support program objectives, and help with daily tasks such as meals, housing, and safety.

You will assist with property management, boutique operations, and training of new staff, while adhering to policies and safety standards. CPR/First Aid certification and background checks are required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR and First Aid training within 90 days of employment.
• Criminal background check required.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend oral and written instructions.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and function as a team member.

Responsabilités

• Ensure quality service in a safe, nonjudgmental manner to participants.
• Coordinate meals, bed assignments, showers, laundry, and daily routines.
• Provide awake shift coverage and engaging presence on the grounds.
• Maintain daily reports and incident logs; monitor safety and sanitation.
• Assist with participant property management and boutique operations.
• De-escalate crises and respond to emergencies as needed.
