The role requires shift leadership, shelter experience, and the ability to coordinate intake, transportation, and guest services. 28.85 USD/hour with comprehensive benefits. Seven-day operation with two shifts nightly.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of shelter or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a shift lead.
• Ability to follow supervisor with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to change, negotiate, and tolerate ambiguity.
• Build effective relationships with partners and staff.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership on shift for the winter shelter site.
• Ensure timely shelter intake data collection and HMIS entry.
• Coordinate transportation to and from the shelter site.
• Ensure meals and resources are provided to shelter guests.
• De-escalate situations and support a welcoming environment.
