Job summary

Family Tree’s House of Hope Program Director leads the day-to-day operations of the shelter, supervising residential staff and ensuring safe, trauma-informed service delivery for families experiencing homelessness. The role partners with leadership to meet program expectations and organizational values.

The director oversees staffing, documentation, crisis response, and collaboration with internal teams to guarantee high-quality care and compliance with policies and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff in a human services, residential, shelter, or related environment.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HMIS and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily House of Hope operations and ensure consistent program functioning.
• Lead and support residential staff through supervision and coaching.
• Respond to client concerns and maintain a trauma-informed, safe environment.
• Oversee documentation, data, and compliance needs with program leadership.
• Participate in on-call rotations and crisis response as needed.
• Foster collaboration with other Family Tree programs and external partners.
