Job summary

Union Gospel Mission in Spokane, WA seeks a 24/7 Men’s Shelter Supervisor to oversee administrative duties, lead staff and volunteers, and ensure a safe, healing environment for residents.

Responsibilities include supervising the Resident Assistant team, coordinating schedules, and maintaining records while upholding the mission, vision, and core values of UGM. A strong commitment to servant leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in social work or applicable field of study.
• 2 years of experience working with a low-income population.
• Knowledge of chemical dependency addictions and process addictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the RA team and volunteers.
• Oversee house management and administrative tasks.
• Maintain weekly schedules and on-call leadership rota.
• Ensure safety and compliance in the Men’s Shelter.
• Collaborate with Medical Clinic Coordinator as needed.
