Job summary

Pasadena Humane seeks a Facilities Associate to clean, sanitize and remove debris from interior buildings and outdoor areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers and animals.

You will support shelter operations by restocking supplies, coordinating with maintenance, and assisting at events, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in all areas of the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/proficiency certificate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Learn to use a forklift.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kennels walkways, breezeways, sidewalks, planters, socialization yards, wash rack, kitchen and garage.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and proper working order.
• Restock supplies and receive shipments; organize storage.
• Provide friendly, courteous exchanges with the public.
• Keep shelter areas neat, remove trash and debris.
• Clean restrooms and kitchenettes; ensure stocked supplies.
• Keep windows, doors and mirrors clean; dust furniture and vents.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown; move heavy equipment as needed.
