Companion Animal Alliance is seeking a reliable Facilities & Fleet Maintenance team member to keep the shelter clean, safe, and functional for daily operations. The role combines interior/exterior upkeep, fleet care, and event support to ensure the animals and community are served effectively.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and lawn equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the facility interior and exterior.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, fleet vehicles, and barn facilities.
• Support deliveries, donations pickup, and event setup/breakdown.
• Inspect and maintain fleet vehicles; report maintenance needs.
• Walk grounds daily to remove trash and debris; operate a leaf blower.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Report safety hazards to the Director of Operations promptly.
• Wear PPE as required.
