Job summary

Denver Rescue Mission seeks a Community Life Lead to manage daily shelter operations and guest services, ensuring safety and a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and volunteers. This role coordinates intake, records, and service delivery while upholding the Mission's purpose of serving individuals experiencing homelessness.

The Lead works with supervisors to ensure staffing coverage, safety, and compliance with policies, while maintaining dignity and respect for all guests and donors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in social services or shelter operations preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day shelter operations and guest services.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility during shifts.
• Greet guests and manage check-in per policies.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Maintenance, IT, and Operations to support daily needs.
