Job summary

LifePath seeks a Guest Services Specialist to oversee the front desk, greet guests, answer phones, and monitor security. This role supports shelter operations with compassion and clear boundaries to ensure a safe environment for visitors and residents.

Core duties include guest intake, orientation tours, basic linen laundering, documentation, and coordination of housekeeping. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required; alignment with LifePath faith is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ and align with LifePath faith statements.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, computer input, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk oversight: answer phones, screen guests, monitor security cameras.
• Maintain security of the facility through routine methods.
• Conduct intakes for new guests and document information.
• Provide shelter orientation tours including belongings processing and linens.
• Oversee guest chores and stock supplies; assist in daily linen laundering as needed.
• Engage guests with compassion, while setting healthy boundaries.
• Regularly walk the facility and perform bed/bathroom checks; address violations.
• Contact emergency services when needed; stay calm during incidents.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings; follow supervisor guidance.
