Job summary

Community Teamwork Inc. in Lowell, MA is seeking a Part-time Residential Counselor to support clients in our Shelter Staff program.

You will work closely with residents to provide life skills support and help oversee site operations using a trauma-informed, client-centred approach. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in social services, strong customer service and communication skills, and basic computer data-entry abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience with individuals in need of social services.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer software and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest and site safety.
• Enforce site rules for smooth operation.
• Respond to emergencies and document per guidelines.
• Complete intake for new guests.
• Provide support and address resident concerns.
• Initiate crisis intervention when necessary.
• Maintain program documentation.
