Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC seeks a Safety Program Manager in Newark, NJ to lead the facility's Safety, Health, and Environmental programs and ensure OSHA compliance. The role partners with operations and maintenance to advance safety and environmental stewardship across daily activities.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in industrial safety, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and relevant certifications. The position includes a sign-on bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of industrial safety experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and state regulations.
• Professional safety certifications (ASP, CSP, OHST, CHST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's SHE programs ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, logs, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate safety training and contractor safety requirements.
• Partner with leadership to monitor contractor safety and health initiatives.
• Drive safety culture and continuous improvement across operations.
