Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Safety Program Manager to lead, implement, and sustain a comprehensive SHE program across our Massachusetts facility. Reporting to Regional Safety Manager and Facility Manager, you will champion OSHA compliance, training, incident investigations, and continuous safety improvements in partnership with operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–4+ years of occupational health and safety experience in industrial settings.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and applicable state safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's SHE programs, with commitment to safety excellence and injury-free operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1910/1926 regulations, permits, and safety requirements, including VPP initiatives where applicable.
• Monitor program effectiveness via KPIs, audits, field observations, and inspections; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, first-aid, and other incidents; coordinate medical response and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain complete, accurate safety records, logs, reports, and regulatory documentation.
• Manage the facility safety training program, including training, alerts, bulletins, procedures, and contractor compliance.
• Educate and coach employees on safe work practices; motivate safe behaviors and address unsafe conditions.
• Oversee contractor and temporary worker safety performance, qualifications, training, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate occupational health programs, including medical surveillance and monitoring.
