Reworld is seeking a Safety Program Manager to lead and sustain a comprehensive SHE program at our Islip, NY site, reporting to the Regional Safety Manager and Facility Manager. You will partner with operations and maintenance to ensure OSHA compliance, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement in safety performance.

This role drives training, incident investigations, and contractor safety, supports cross-facility collaboration, and may mentor other Safety Program Managers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–4+ years of occupational health and safety experience in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 and state regulations.
• Professional safety certifications such as ASP, CSP, OHST, or CHST preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the facility's Safety, Health, and Environmental programs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and VPP initiatives where applicable.
• Oversee investigations of incidents, near-misses, and first-aid events.
• Develop training, audits, and safety communications.
• Partner with operations to improve safety performance.
