Job summary

Mondi Group seeks a Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Manager for the Clinton, PA plant to provide strategic and operational leadership of EHS programs. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Mondi Group SHE requirements while driving continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.

The ideal candidate will lead audits, manage reporting, and coordinate training, with strong knowledge of US regulations and experience in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Advanced certifications preferred (CSP, CHMM, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state environmental and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with digital SHE management tools (ESDMS, Power BI, SAP) and MS 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Mondi Group SHE requirements and ISO standards.
• Lead internal audits, management reviews, and permitting/reporting activities.
• Oversee incident investigations using root cause analysis and track corrective actions.
• Develop SHE training plans and coach supervisors to improve accountability.
• Monitor environmental performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
