Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for our Jonestown, PA corrugated facility. Lead and mentor the production team, align EHS programs with enterprise plans, and ensure compliance through permits and reporting.

You will partner with site leadership to set objectives, manage training, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EHS leadership in manufacturing or military settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Ability to develop and implement EHS programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership to achieve the EHS vision.
• Develop and align facility EHS programs and strategies with enterprise plans.
• Prepare environmental permits and EHS reports.
• Foster an environment where employees exercise EHS decision rights.
• Lead development of risk assessment methods to identify hazards.
• Increase hazard awareness to reduce at-risk behaviors.
• Ensure an effective change management process is in place.
• Partner with facility leadership to set EHS objectives, targets and measures.
• Develop and maintain training systems to meet plant needs.
• Conduct routine management reviews and adjust plans as needed.
• Foster collaboration with employees, stakeholders, and regulators.
