SC Johnson GmbH seeks an Associate Manager, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) to plan, design, implement and oversee site safety and health programs. You will lead continuous improvement, data analysis, incident management and risk assessments while managing direct reports and contractors.

The role partners with operations and maintenance teams to meet site safety targets, deploy leader standard work, and coach SHE professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of safety, health, and environmental experience in a manufacturing environment, including demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated project management experience to enable prioritization and management of multiple projects to completion.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for full-time employment.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a visible safety leader on the manufacturing floor and engage with employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Lead injury reduction efforts through hazard identification, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
• Coach leaders to build safety ownership at all levels of the organization.
• Conduct routine floor walks, safety observations, and field engagements to identify risks.
• Oversee incident investigations and drive root-cause analysis with sustainable corrective actions.
• Use data to identify trends and drive improvements in safety performance.
• Oversee regulatory safety programs and support operational excellence and injury prevention.
• Lead, coach, and develop SHE professionals and set clear expectations for field engagement.
• Partner with operations leaders to deploy leader standard work for safety targets.
