Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to lead site-wide EHS programs at a large Philadelphia-area manufacturing facility. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety systems in partnership with plant leadership to improve safety performance and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance programs.
• Experience with air, water, waste, hazardous materials, and environmental permitting.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001/45001 management systems.
• Experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives.
• Experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of site-wide EHS programs and management systems.
• Drive proactive safety culture through leadership coaching, training, and behavioral-based safety initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to reduce injuries.
• Serve as SME for OSHA, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to integrate EHS best practices.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and site preparedness programs.
• Monitor EHS KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead environmental compliance efforts for air, water, waste, stormwater, and permitting.
• Deliver training and coach leaders to strengthen safety ownership.
• Support ISO-based management systems and adherence to company standards.
