Job summary

Xplora Search Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Shared Services to lead and optimize a broad Shared Services organization. You will develop leaders, set high standards, and drive continuous improvement across finance, operations, and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will balance strategic initiatives with hands-on accountability, building strong teams, and delivering measurable improvements in service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in Shared Services, accounting, finance, or related environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting and business processes.
• Leadership experience including responsibility for other managers or team leaders.
• Track record of developing people and improving team performance.
• Experience improving processes and driving change.
• Experience establishing expectations and measuring performance.
• Strong understanding of systems, controls, and operational workflows.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
• Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
• Ability to work across departments and levels, with strong communication and relationship skills.
• High degree of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sizable Shared Services organization through an established management team.
• Coach, develop, and hold leaders accountable for the performance of their teams.
• Establish clear expectations, priorities, and operating standards.
• Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service.
• Develop meaningful performance measures to provide greater visibility into the operation.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives from identification through implementation.
• Partner with leaders across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Technology, and other areas of the organization.
• Evaluate opportunities to better utilize systems, automation, and technology.
• Strengthen processes and controls as the organization continues to evolve.
• Improve consistency and standardization across teams.
• Identify and resolve operational issues while addressing their underlying causes.
• Create an environment of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong communication.
• Balance longer-term improvement initiatives with the day-to-day needs of the business.
