Job summary

Hex is seeking an SDR Manager to lead and scale our West Coast SDR team. You will guide outbound motion development, coach early-career reps, and partner with Sales and Marketing to drive pipeline. This hands-on leadership role shapes coaching cadences, AI-enabled workflows, and a repeatable outbound playbook as the team grows.

You will own day-to-day performance, coach for growth, and build the culture of accountability. This hybrid role is based in San Francisco with 2-3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years in Sales Development with 1-2 years in people management.
• Proven track record coaching SDRs to meet or exceed pipeline goals.
• Strong outbound prospecting experience and clear opinions on good prospecting.
• Data-driven with ability to diagnose performance and coach effectively.
• Collaborative partner to Sales and Marketing, not a siloed operator.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs focused on outbound and inbound pipeline generation.
• Set clear performance expectations and hold the team to activity and pipeline goals.
• Run regular 1:1s, call coaching, deal reviews, and training sessions.
• Build and own a repeatable coaching cadence and enablement playbook.
