Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers seeks a Severe Needs Para Educator to support students with severe special education needs under licensed staff. You will assist with curriculum delivery, skill development, behavior strategies, and assignment completion in classroom and IEP-aligned activities.

In both in-person and remote learning settings, you will prepare instructional materials, monitor progress, maintain records, provide functional care as needed, and support emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training.
• Medication administration training may be required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities and adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• Maintain records of student progress and behavior with licensed staff.
• Assist with materials preparation, tests, and attendance.
• Support online and in-person activities, including safety and routine tasks.
