Job summary

Dartmouth College is seeking a Services Coordinator (temporary) in Hanover, NH. This full-time temporary role runs mid-September for about four weeks, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Responsibilities

  • Photocopy/Print Services: manage requests via a web-based system; print, scan, bind materials and meet deadlines.
  • Mail Services: sort and distribute daily incoming mail and packages; liaison with delivery personnel; ensure confidential items reach recipients.
  • Miscellaneous: provide comprehensive customer service to faculty, staff, and students; assist with confidential materials; troubleshoot copiers.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality in a welcoming environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Employment Category: Temporary Full Time

This is a full-time temporary position, beginning in mid-September for approximately four weeks, covering for a staff member on leave. The hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Accountabilities
  • Photocopy/Print Services: Uses a web-based system to manage and track service requests (photocopies, supplies, photocopier repairs). Performs printing services, including photocopying, scanning, collating, poster-making, and binding for course materials, mailings, and departmental materials. Determines appropriate specifications to ensure high quality and accuracy of completed product. Works closely with support staff, administrators, and faculty to finalize production, compilation, and distribution of printed materials. Coordinates the printing of confidential materials to meet deadlines.
  • Mail Services: Sorts and distributes daily incoming mail and packages from various couriers to faculty, staff, and students; acts as liaison with delivery personnel and provides information as needed. Ensures confidential, legal, and perishable mail items are retrieved by the recipient in a timely manner. Records and monitors package receipt and retrieval to ensure timely distribution. Assists staff in preparation of large mailings by ensuring availability of necessary mailing supplies.
  • Miscellaneous: Provides comprehensive customer service to faculty, staff, and students; addresses inquiries, offers direction and information. Assists support staff with various administrative tasks; distributing and preparing confidential course materials. Troubleshoots malfunctions and maintains multiple photocopiers.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and collegiality through actions, interactions, and communications with others appropriate to an environment that is welcoming to all.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
