Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Tampa, FL is looking for a ServiceNow Engineer - SPM to configure, implement, and sustain the SPM module in a complex enterprise environment. You will own hands-on development, workflows, dashboards, and integrations with ITSM and CMDB/ITOM.

The role requires 5-8 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, strong JavaScript skills, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable SPM capabilities that support portfolio visibility and decision-making.

Qualifications

8+ years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Configure, implement, enhance, and sustain the ServiceNow SPM module (Demand, Project, Resource, Financial/ Budget Management).
Serve as primary hands-on technical resource for SPM, translating portfolio requirements into platform capabilities.
Evaluate SPM customizations vs. native configuration to reduce debt and upgrade risk.
Develop and support workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, forms, and reporting in SPM.
Build and maintain integrations between SPM and ITSM/CMDB/ITOM using REST and SOAP.
Collaborate with ServiceNow engineering for standards and integration points.
Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support portfolio visibility and decisions.
Support patching, upgrades, and migrations of ServiceNow infrastructure.
