Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer for a hybrid role in Houston, TX. You will design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, and implement integrations and automation to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities include building flows with Flow Designer, managing CMDB and Discovery, and ensuring governance and security standards. Competitive benefits and ongoing professional growth are provided.

Qualifications

Experience with ServiceNow development and platform customization.
Proficient in building REST/SOAP integrations and scheduled jobs.
Hands-on with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain Script Includes, REST/SOAP integrations, scheduled jobs, and custom applications using ServiceNow best practices.
Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping (preferred).
Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Configure and customize workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and notifications.
Create technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration documentation, and knowledge articles.
Develop and maintain Flow Designer flows, Integration Hub integrations, and automation workflows.
Troubleshoot platform issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
Support platform upgrades by analyzing impacts, remediating customizations, and performing regression testing.
Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow development standards, governance, security, and platform best practices.
