Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer for a hybrid role in Houston, TX. You will design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, and implement integrations and automation to meet business requirements.

• Proficient in building REST/SOAP integrations and scheduled jobs.
• Hands-on with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Script Includes, REST/SOAP integrations, scheduled jobs, and custom applications using ServiceNow best practices.
• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping (preferred).
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Configure and customize workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and notifications.
• Create technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration documentation, and knowledge articles.
• Develop and maintain Flow Designer flows, Integration Hub integrations, and automation workflows.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support platform upgrades by analyzing impacts, remediating customizations, and performing regression testing.
• Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow development standards, governance, security, and platform best practices.

What You’ll Do
