Job summary

Truist seeks a ServiceNow Product Engineer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that translate business needs into clear requirements and prioritized backlog items. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver scalable platform capabilities while adhering to development standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems with the ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
• ServiceNow certifications and platform knowledge referenced in job requirements.
• Experience with backlog management, roadmap planning, and value-based prioritization.
• Knowledge of Agile product operating models and cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains ServiceNow components addressing defined requirements.
• Implements features for the ServiceNow platform using established coding standards and patterns.
• Contributes to reliability, scalability, and performance of ServiceNow applications via high-quality code and code reviews.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute planned initiatives and deliver solutions on schedule.
• Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves defects and production issues with root-cause analysis.
• Participates in full SDLC from requirements refinement to deployment and support.
• Applies secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards.
