Job summary

The Stafford Gray Group in Michigan is seeking a senior ServiceNow resource to own platform-level architecture decisions, not just module configuration, for a State of Michigan engagement. You will lead architecture across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and SPM, guide implementations, conduct design reviews, oversee integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server, SSO/LDAP), and mentor the platform team.

This 1099 contract role requires deep ServiceNow expertise, CSA/CAD/CTA preferred, and government-client experience

Qualifications

• Architecture-level ServiceNow expertise, not mere configuration.
• CSA and/or CAD/CTA credentials preferred.
• Experience across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD and SPM modules.

Overview: State of Michigan engagement staffed through Stafford Gray. The client needs a senior ServiceNow resource to own platform level architecture decisions, not just module configuration.

Responsibilities

• Own platform architecture: data model, integrations, security, scalability
• Guide implementation across modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM as applicable) and set platform standards
• Lead technical design reviews and governance
• Oversee integrations with other state systems (REST/SOAP, MID server, SSO/LDAP)
• Mentor technical consultants and developers on the platform team
• Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable architecture

Required Qualifications

• Significant ServiceNow experience at an architecture level, not just configuration
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred
• Experience across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM)
• Integration experience: REST/SOAP, SSO/LDAP, MID server

Preferred Qualifications

• State or local government client experience
• CTA credential
