Job summary

Maximus offers an IT Service Management Intern role centered on ServiceNow and CMDB stewardship. You will work with IT teams to keep services running, improve user experiences, and support data quality and reporting.

You will collaborate with ServiceNow admins, process owners, and IT leaders on incidents, requests, changes, and assets, gaining hands-on experience in IT operations, analytics, and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT-related degree or recent graduate; strong interest in ServiceNow ITSM.
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, or data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Work on IT assignments of moderate difficulty under the direction of a more senior mentor to build a well‑rounded skillset.
• Prepare standard reports and presentation materials.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve employee and customer experiences across IT services.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and analyzing user feedback, satisfaction surveys, and service metrics.
• Explore the use of AI, automation, and digital technologies to improve workflows, reporting, and service delivery.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance platform adoption and user engagement.
