Job summary

Maximus in the United States is seeking a ServiceNow & IT Service Management Intern to support the team responsible for running and improving technology services. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Rising senior or graduate student pursuing IT/CS/IS/Business/Engineering or related field.
• Interest in ServiceNow, ITSM or enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to JavaScript, Python, Java or similar languages.
• Coursework or project experience in software development, databases, analytics, or technology management.
• Familiarity with Agile, project management or collaborative team projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on IT assignments of moderate difficulty under a mentor to build skills.
• Escalate issues and questions to management as needed.
• Participate in group discussions to solve problems of moderate scope.
• Attend meetings to gain process knowledge and guidance on projects.
• Read, understand, and perform assignments within guidelines.
• Prepare standard reports and presentation materials.
• Contribute ideas to improve employee and customer experiences across IT services.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and analyzing user feedback and service metrics.
• Explore AI, automation, and digital technologies to improve workflows and reporting.
