Job summary

Maximus for ServiceNow & IT Service Management Internship seeks a budding IT professional to contribute to real initiatives that support service delivery, platform operations, reporting, data quality, and process improvement.

You will work with ServiceNow administrators, process owners, and IT leaders to gain hands-on experience with ITSM, CMDB fundamentals, and analytics, while learning workflow automation and enterprise-platform roles.

Qualifications

• Interest in ServiceNow, ITSM, technology operations or enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar technologies.
• Coursework or project experience involving software development, databases, analytics, process improvement, or technology management.
• Familiarity with Agile, project management, or collaborative team projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on IT assignments of moderate difficulty under the direction of a more senior mentor to build a well-rounded skillset.
• Escalate issues and questions to management, as necessary.
• Participate in group discussions with peers or external groups to solution problems of moderate scope.
• Participate in meetings to gain process knowledge and guidance on assigned projects.
• Read, understand, and perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.
• Approach challenges and create solutions with a critical thinking and customer service mindset.
• Prepare standard reports and presentation materials.
