Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Developer to own day-to-day configuration, development, and support across ITSM and HRSD. You will build, optimize, and extend the ServiceNow platform, integrating with third-party systems and ensuring scalable, secure solutions.

You will collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders across development, staging, and production, driving upgrades and enhancements to the platform.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including GlideRecord and GlideAjax.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Service Catalog development.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, webhooks, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes and how they translate into ServiceNow solutions.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across ServiceNow and connected systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow: build and maintain applications, catalog items, record producers, workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and more.
• Build integrations: design, develop, and troubleshoot REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems using APIs and Integration Hub.
• Maintain and optimize the platform: monitor health, troubleshoot performance, optimize scripts and flows, ensure scalability.
• Support ServiceNow applications like ITSM & HRSD: deliver and improve incident, problem, change, request, and HR workflows.
• Manage access and security: administer roles, ACLs, permissions, and platform access controls.
• Resolve complex issues: act as escalation point, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate across teams.
