Job summary

Entergy is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join the Operational Governance team in New Orleans. You will design, develop, and support ServiceNow-based solutions across core IT processes within an Agile scrum team.

You will work on feature development, AI-enabled automation, and integrations with third-party platforms while contributing to deployments, testing, and ongoing platform health and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, business administration, or other technical area; or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years as a software developer for an enterprise platform (Cloud Specialist Senior).
• Strong problem solving and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Agile development teams.
• Experience with JavaScript required.

Responsibilities

• Develop features with configuration and custom code on the ServiceNow platform.
• Create agentic solutions using AI tools and integrations.
• Coordinate changes, upgrades, and testing with external providers.
• Participate in peer reviews and Scrum ceremonies.
• Develop workflows and service requests per customer specs.
