Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Business Analyst to support the ServiceNow platform within the Platforms team in the Washington DC metro area. You will gather requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with developers, QA, and product owners to deliver enhancements on ServiceNow.

The role requires 3+ years of BA experience and US citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to ServiceNow.
• US Citizenship is required with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Proven experience with hands on coding and scripting.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably supporting enterprise technology or ServiceNow implementations.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process documentation.
• Experience creating user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Business Analyst supporting the Platforms - ServiceNow team.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions across the platform.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes to recommend efficient, scalable solutions.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
• Assist with testing activities, including test planning, execution support, and validation of delivered functionality.
• Maintain documentation and help ensure project deliverables are aligned with business goals and technical standards.
