Job summary

Absolute Business Solutions Corp is seeking a ServiceNow Architect to lead the transition from BMC Helix to ServiceNow for AFNCR IT Services-2. You will serve as the technical authority, designing and governing enterprise ServiceNow solutions across AFNCR and the DoD, with emphasis on ITSM modernization, security, and AI-enabled automation.

The role is on-site in Camp Springs, MD, with a 12- to 18-month term and potential extension.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher required.
Strong background in ServiceNow platform development, enterprise architecture, and security architecture.
Experience architecting and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions in cloud-hosted environments.
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules: Service Request, Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management.
Knowledge of ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist.
Experience leading enterprise ITSM migrations and platform governance.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical authority for ServiceNow platform architecture across AFNCR/DAF.
Lead architecture, design, engineering, configuration, and implementation of ITSM modernization on ServiceNow.
Design and automate ITIL processes (Service Request, Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB) within ServiceNow.
Develop and govern platform architecture, security controls, data models, integrations, and standards.
Architect and implement solutions that replace legacy BMC Helix processes and improve service delivery.
Collaborate with government stakeholders and development teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Provide technical leadership to distributed teams and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Evaluate and incorporate ServiceNow AI capabilities to improve automation and efficiency.
Ensure architecture supports DoD regulatory requirements.
