Client is looking for a ServiceNow Architect who will use their knowledge and experience of the ServiceNow platform to architect a solution that meets ITSM, ITAM and change management needs of IT projects across DC.

The Client is the central technology organization of the District of Columbia Government. The organization develops, implements, and maintains the District’s technology infrastructure; implements major enterprise applications; establishes technology policies and standards; and provides technology services and support for District agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives and requirements.
- Develop technical architecture, data model, integrations, and workflows to support business processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies.
- Mentor team members on ServiceNow platform capabilities and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
- Develop the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, and CSS; configure workflows, forms, UI policies, and catalog items.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and other integration techniques; ensure data integrity and security.
- Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow performance and scalability; implement performance tuning measures and monitor system performance.
- Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards in ServiceNow implementations; implement security controls, access restrictions, and audit mechanisms.
- Create technical documentation including design documents, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users.
- Provide high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff.
- Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
- Develop strategy of system and design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.
- Advise on selection of technological purchases regarding processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
- Set standards for client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, Oracle, Sybase).
- Advise on feasibility of potential future projects to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
- Proven experience architecting and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions in enterprise environments.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and components.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM, and SPM.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other integration protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with system diagramming and modeling using structured modeling languages such as UML.
- Experience as an enterprise architect.
- Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITFM, HRSD, PPM and SPM.
- Experience with database structure standards for relational databases (SQL, Oracle, Sybase).
