Job summary

Northern Base is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Architect for a remote, full-time role in the USA. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience as a Senior Technical Lead / ServiceNow Architect, with hands-on expertise in ITSM, CMDB, Integrations, and Virtual Agent.

Applicants must hold ServiceNow CSA and demonstrate strong ITIL, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices. Extensive scripting, discovery, mapping, and alert management experience is required for enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as Senior Technical Lead / ServiceNow Architect.
• Hands-on ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Integrations, and Virtual Agent.
• Must have ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Strong ITIL process definition, integration solutions, and architecture-level configuration.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow base platform, reporting, dashboards, and configuration.
• Strong scripting: JavaScript, Unix Shell, Windows, PowerShell, RegEx.
• Experience with REST API, SOAP integrations.
• Cloud fundamentals; Windows/Unix administration.
• Understanding of servers, networks, and storage infrastructure.
• Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Strong SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and ITIL knowledge.
• Experience with Event Management integrations.
• ServiceNow Discovery: schedules, cloud discovery, tag-based discovery.
• Building Service Maps; IRE Rules, Script Includes, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Probes, Sensors.
• Event Management alerts and correlation rules; Flow Designer workflows.
• Alert deduplication and correlation rules; Reports and Dashboards customization.
• Collaborative work with infrastructure/application teams; strong stakeholder communication.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Technical Lead / ServiceNow Architect
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Integrations, and Virtual Agent
• Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Strong experience with ITIL process definition, integration solutions, and architecture-level configuration
• Knowledge of ServiceNow base platform, reporting, dashboards, and configuration
