Triad Truck Equipment in Pottstown, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Service Writer to be the key liaison between customers, service technicians, and production. You will prepare service quotations and orders, communicate repair needs, and ensure timely completion of jobs.

The role requires scheduling experience, strong communication, and proficiency with computers. Excellent customer service and organization are essential for daily coordination and timely updates to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, document service needs, and prepare detailed service orders.
• Communicate job status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Schedule and prioritize production work based on capacity, deadlines, and resource availability. This includes assigning jobs and verifying times in DMS.
• Coordinate with all departments with job status updates.
• Track progress of jobs and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate records of services, job timelines, and customer communications.
• File warranty claims with manufacturers.
• Receive new chassis deliveries and document.
