Total Equipment Management is seeking a Service Writer in Idaho Falls. You will be the vital link between customers and technicians, coordinating repairs, documenting work orders, and ensuring accurate estimates and billing.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, organization, and timely updates in a fast-paced shop environment. Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and comfort with service software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, service advising, office administration, or a related role preferred.
• Experience in equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, agricultural, or construction industries is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide exceptional service throughout the repair process.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries regarding equipment repairs.
• Create, process, and close work orders while ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
• Prepare repair estimates, invoices, and service documentation.
• Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure technicians have the parts they need to complete repairs.
• Check equipment in and out of the shop according to company procedures.
• Keep customers informed by providing timely updates on repair progress, inspection results, and estimated completion times.
