Job summary

BH Management Services, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist with the oversight of physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction at our Jacksonville properties. You will diagnose problems, perform general repairs, and support apartment make-readies while following BH standards.

This role supports preventive maintenance and rehabilitation projects, uses industry tools, and helps keep common areas safe and well maintained.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of general maintenance and safety experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• HVAC knowledge and basic computer skills required.
• Must provide own industry-specific hand tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance and make-readies for apartments.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC.
• Address maintenance requests promptly to maintain move-in readiness.
• Assist with safety compliance and hazard reporting to management.
• Share on-call duties with the maintenance team and follow BH guidelines.
