Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician III to support the property’s physical assets, perform maintenance, make-readies, and preventive tasks across our communities.

You will use industry tools, coordinate with the Community Manager and Service Manager, and help ensure move-in readiness while maintaining safety and OSHA compliance. This on-site role requires collaboration with the office team and a commitment to high standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive maintenance and safety experience.
• EPA Section 608 Type I – Appliance, Type II – HVAC or Universal certification.
• High School diploma – preferred.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under minimal supervision.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC repairs.
• Required to provide own hand tools.
• Intermediate computer skills with industry-specific tech.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and monitor completion within standards.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and make-readies for move-ins; HVAC and appliance work.
• Identify hazards and report to Community/Service Manager.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented.
• Maintain tools and assist in scheduling weekly make-readies.
• Oversee on-call duties and respond to resident requests as needed.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies; know code requirements.
