General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our Chicago-based team. This role focuses on timely service requests, resident support, and reliable maintenance of appliances and HVAC systems to keep our properties in top condition.

You will work in a collaborative environment that values safety, open communication, and opportunities for skill growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years’ experience in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry and electrical skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC items as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

To be a top candidate you will:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Have At least 2 years’ in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Pass a criminal background check

A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required, along with a passing criminal background check and pre - employment drug testing.
