Job summary

General Services Corporation is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support our residential properties. You will perform HVAC repair, appliance servicing, installations, and general maintenance to ensure safe, high‑quality dwellings.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, EPA certification, and the ability to follow environmental and safety regulations. We value customer service, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical work.
• EPA Certification (Type 2 or Universal) required.
• HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Eligible to pass background check and pre-employment drug testing.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years or older; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.
