Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist with oversight of physical assets and ensure resident satisfaction. The role involves diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and assisting with apartment make-readies and preventive maintenance.

You will work under supervision, use industry tools, and follow safety guidelines. The job supports the property operations team and requires basic HVAC knowledge, own tools, and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functions.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• High School or GED (General Education Diploma) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Required to provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Use industry-specific technology to perform repairs promptly and restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Complete maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep including exterior grounds and common areas; troubleshoot HVAC and assist with make-readies.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions to Community Manager and Service Manager.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per BH guidelines.
• Maintain and secure all property-issued tools.
• Post notices to vacate and communicate with residents as applicable.
• Share on-call responsibilities, including inclement weather, with the maintenance team.
• Respond to resident requests per company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
