Job summary

BH Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to assist with oversight of physical assets, diagnose problems, and perform repairs and make-readies across multifamily properties. The role emphasizes safety, on-site presence, and delivering excellent customer service to residents and teams.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tool security, and on-call coverage. Candidates should have basic maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and own hand tools, with a strong safety mindset

Qualifications

• Six months to one year general maintenance and safety experience.
• High School or GED (General Education Diploma) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Regularly performs manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.
• Required to provide own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses industry-specific technology to ensure repairs and replacements are completed timely to restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Completes maintenance requests, replacements, and upkeep within company standards including exterior grounds and common areas, troubleshooting HVAC and assist with make-readies.
• Identifies and reports hazardous conditions to managers.
• Ensures preventive maintenance programs are followed and documented per BH guidelines.
• Maintains and secures all property-issued tools.
• Posts notices to vacate and other community communications as applicable.
• Shares on-call responsibilities and responds to resident requests per standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Complies with OSHA and safety requirements; adheres to federal, state, and local codes and internal policies.
